• Alba - The calciner associated the aluminum production facilities at Aluminium Bahrain was commissioned in May 2001. At full capacity, the coke calcining plant will produce 450,000 MT/year, marketing the excess for export around the world.

• Chicago Carbon Company - is an affiliate of Unocal and calcines and markets petroleum coke products. The facility is located in Lemont, IL. and has a calcining capacity of 165,000 metric tons annually.

• CII Carbon, LLC - is one of the largest producers of calcined petroleum coke with operations that began in 1959. CII is independently owned, with production of over one million tons of calcined coke from plants in the U.S.

• GOA Carbon - Goa Carbon Limited was incorporated as a public limited company in 1967. The company has a calcination plant of  100,000 MT capacity and is located in southern Goa, 40 kilometers away from the Mormugao port. In 1993, Goa Carbon became the first Indian manufacturer/exporter of petcoke.

• Great Lakes Carbon Corporation (GLC) - GLC, now Oxbow Calcining, is the world's leading producer of calcined petroleum coke with expertise in raw petroleum coke purchasing, blending and calcining as well as in screening, packaging and technical support. Customers include the aluminum, steel, titanium dioxide, chemical and other specialty carbon additive industries.

• Rain Calcining Limited (RCL) - Asia's largest calciner with a total calcining capacity of 300,000 MT/year of calcined petroleum coke. The facility also generates 50 MW of surplus electricity for sale to industrial consumers in Andhra Pradesh State.

• ZCGG - the largest manufacturer of calcined petroleum coke in China, with an annual output capacity of 150,000 metric tons. Other products include carbon raiser, graphitized coke, and foundry coke.

• Zen International - Established in Calcutta, India in 1995, Zen International represents international producers of green petroleum coke as well as calcined and needle petroleum cokes.
